I could cope with Griffiths, although he'd want to get a hair transplant or just shave his head.
But Doyle? Why? He's not better than stokes.
Pointless, pointless signing. Completely against this so called signing strategy of buy cheap and young and sell for a profit. I guarantee if we buy Doyle we'll end up giving him away in a bid to remove his wage in a year or two. He'll take Daryl Murphys token irishman place as never playing
Neither Doyle or Griffiths are better than what we shipped out because we didn't want then in Lassad and Miku.
Griffiths I could stomach, he's a good wee player after all and he'd be worth a punt. He's still young and he wouldn't command a huge fee, but Doyle...? If we sign Doyle I will be gutted. He's mince, he's not a goal scorer and we don't need him. He's got a pish track record, it's roughly 1 in 4, which is Kenny Miller territory. 29 too 
The lack of ambition shown by the Celtic board is shocking! Champions League cash from last year £20m (not including gate reciepts etc), Wanyama £12m and £5m for Hooper. And they're going for Doyle (not good enough) and Griffiths (he's a wee tadger) . Also, rumours Ledley and Wilson to be sold . What they doing to this squad !!! Not replacing like for like or improving the squad.

Seems there might be a few on here dont trust oor managers judgement.
I'd say more concerned with the sort of players we're being linked with in relation to the players who've left and the amount of money raised.
Of course, we should remember these are just rumours.
Where is Lassad? Did he not sign a 2 year deal with us at the start of last year? Has he officially been punted?
So, you happy with losing Ki, Wanyama, Hooper and possibility of Wilson (and Ledley at a stretch) and signing Doyle and Griffiths! And I don't see us blaming Lennon, the board not backing him. You have a season ticket, so you happy that this is how the board wish to spend the cash?

Our record on strikers is pretty poor recently - sure, we got Hooper 3 years ago.
Since then, Lassad, Miku, Brozek have all been outperformed by a precocious wee teenager we bought from Airdrie.
He'll be on the front pages more than the back ones.

Just **** right off with that ; if this is true it shows a real lack of ambition... actually lack of ambition is probably the wrong phrase as we wouldn't even be standing still, rather, going backwards.
The cheap route has worked , what player worth over 5 million is going to come to Scotland ???and wages over 40 grand would upset the squad who are basically on similar wages. Saw we offered 500,000 for Doyle they want 2.5 million !!!!!
Doyle was a real handful a couple of years back. An absolute workhorse for the team.
Kenny Miller was a ****, but he had a great work ethic. Doyle was that and a bit more....now he is ****e.
We were linked with Shane Long 12 months back. We were told he didn't score enough then. He hit a bit of form on that front.
Either way, that seems to be the mould of player Lennon wants. Given the right set up of the team, we might have that guy in the team already in the Greek God. The signing of D-Bo takes Sammy off that wing now.... Where ors he go?
