Someone mentioned that he might be the second highest paid Chief Exec in the Premier League, or there abouts.

Worth every penny.

If our chief executive went I would be far from impressed. No offence to Smith & Wynn Jones but in the past they've hired wet blankets who nearly put this club out of business, also their not the most proactive or reactive bunch.

Foulger is a businessman who seems to know his stuff and Bowkett comes across as a strong stubborn to the point character, so if anything bad happens like losing our CEO we'd fortunately hire a more capable person then Doomcaster.

However that day may never happen and although its an uncertainty I try not to think about it.

Ahem! Who hired DM, a man who had all sorts of other options open to him? <ok>

Redknapp on missing out on Gary Hooper - "you definitely shouldn't play poker with David McNally." Well played @davidmcnally62 #NCFC #OTBC

Yes but who hired the dynamic duo of Doncaster and Munby, then allowed them to work their magic for more then a few too many years?

We all make mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them. I'm sure Delia burnt a lot of cakes in her early days. Now look where she is! <ok>

In the article that comes from, the writer quotes Redknapp, ends the quote with 99 speech marks, then the writer, in the next paragraph, says "you shouldn't play poker with David McNally". Redknapp never said it, just someone incapable of seeing or interpreting speech marks thought he did and told the whole of twitter.

Sorry if that seems like a bit of a rant, but this has been really annoying me... :)

You're right to be annoyed. It is happening all the time -- including, I'm sorry to say, on here. Posters often say "X said Y", but when I listen to what X actually said, it is quite different. When the X is Chris Hughton and the Y is discreditable, I get especially annoyed! <laugh> <ok>

its the problem with twitter, no fact checkers and no real accountability for tweeting lies. Combine that with the slop of football reporting and its a miracle anything truthful gets printed at all.

so, despite skybets optimism, we probably arent getting toby, which is a shame because (i know i know youtube pimp reel ahoy) he looks bloody good here.

also just looked up dunstan hall as i hadn't heard of it. If they are our 'sweetener' hotel for targets we need to slip them a couple of quid to up their game. The fanciest room in the whole place still has a big hulking CRT telly circa 2005! This doesn't sell Norwich as a modern forward looking place. Send em some flat screens Mcnally!

I presume you looked at the DeVere website, the photos are out of date. I worked there last year (and saw many of the new signings dossing in the bar) and all of the rooms have flat screen TVs, fear not...
