That song "Fix You" really is a crime to music. I can't believe they got paid to sing an entire song out of tune.
Agreed. I used to quite like those parts of the track where Martin wasn't screeching, but now I'm an adult man I've realised they're just as ****.
Fix You is painful to listen to and it's even more irritating than James Blunt's You're Beautiful.

Coldplay are possibly the most overrated, bland, out right awful band to come out of this country in 20 years.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say i like Coldplay! I don't like all their songs, but most of them are alright. When you've seen them live you appreciate their music a lot more. However, i do like groups such as Oasis, Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian more.
I love them. Can honestly say I've never heard a song by them I haven't liked. Have all their albums, and listen to them in the car along with some Joy Division, Morrisey, Depeche Mode and Hurts mixed in. I dont get the hate either. I get some people not liking them, personally I can't stand Lady Gaga, or Westlife, but that doesnt stop them being popular. They're better than any of the SyCo produced ****e too, but don't seem to attract the same type of bile for some reason.

Parachutes was and still is a brilliant album even though they ripped off Jeff Buckley with Shiver which is a sin in its self. After that they went eventualy downhill and at Glastonbury I'll certainly be watching the Chemical Brothers over Coldplay. Bland and over-rated.
