How on earth do these guys make such statements as these:

He will also be surrounded by a second class team reliant on average players like Arteta and Ramsey supported by an ever injured player like Wilshere. No mate it's your side that truly needs drastic surgery. Better keep an eye on WHU 'cos they'll be pushing you for the 'title' of the 3rd best side in London

Everyone **** off with your off-topic nonsense - keep it to pm's!

Back on topic - With the squad finishing off the asia tour it means the club will now have more time to concentrate on sorting out our transfer business. Hopefully this means we are going to see some movement on the Suarez issue over the next few days.

What's wrong over there?

Also - Anyone know of what the other 'chaps' that left here to start their own forum are getting up to?

You'll get banned for trivial things. Some Scousers complained about me jokingly pretending to be a Liverpool fan. What happens? I get banned. Meanwhile, those same Scousers are wumming on the Arsenal board. And not only that barely any gooners can post on their board as the Admin has blocked all of them, but the Scousers can on the Arsenal board. You couldn't make it up.

I really don't understand this "not challenging" line. Clearly we have the money to challenge now and players like Suarez may see our project (building a title challenging team) more appealing than Liverpool's (building a team to challenge for 4th).

When Man City were taken over by the Sheikhs, they weren't challenging. Didn't stop a heap of world class players going there, though.

The money means nothing unless you actually spend it. And so far:

Come on, we were accused of not getting rid of deadwood, now that is a negative? Still a long way to go in the transfer window. My view is that if a club has accepted a bit this early, then the buyer has overpaid, or no one else wants the player.

If a club has a top player and there are multiple clubs that want him, they are going to keep negotiating for a few weeks more. It is a game of chicken.

Look at the column on the bottom left. The one that says £0. That is exactly how much of a challange you are making right now. Even if you got Suarez he would not be anywhere near enough.

Last year Man City had a terrible season. They still finished 2 places above you and so far they have done this:
