I'll give you lot credit for not wumming at the moment even Batmoanu has been tidy enough on our board. I think most of us are just sick of the situation and just want an end to it.

IMO we should not sell him to any PL unless it is a crazy offer, if he wants to go then he has to put in a transfer request and we'll accept offers from clubs abroad.

Would you lot really want someone who has acted the way he has and even though his club has backed him he is willing to walk away and **** on the fans? If you get him and Citeh come in for him next season he'll be off again.

The differences is, I knew that we weren't going to compete for the title, unlike Liverpool fans who think 4th spot is theirs to lose, you still have to get above Everton and Tottenham before you even think about Arsenal. This upcoming season, the gap will become even bigger.

LFC will be top 6 this coming season. The only way the gap could widen is if we move up to 2nd I think.

Higuain was massively overpriced at £35m, that's what having £55m to burn a whole in your pocket does.

Soldado is not what we need. He's not bad, but not the sort of quality we are looking for. Also he's nearly 29 and probably only has a couple of good years left in him. I saw figures being banded around for £26m for him, that's way overpriced. He's a £15m player tops.

It's been like this for the last two or three summers, have you just missed it because you wasn't involved? <laugh>

Do you think Suarez is good value at £50m though ? I'd say it's way overpriced, but we may need to pay it to get him

It is overpriced but then, every British based player is. Plus, you have to pay a premium if you want to take a potential rival clubs (different argument) player!
 
Only Wenger, Gazidis, the board know if we can realistically afford to spend £50m on one player.

It's not a risk i would like us to take personally, especially on a player I don't think would stick around for more than a couple of seasons
