I thought the big @AudaciousStunt in my signature would give it away but then again if you can't see that, I wouldn't blame you for missing out on the quotation marks in my tweet either. You really are as old as they claim you to be, aren't you
Enjoying all of the Cavani comments about him being better than Suarez, especially from people who have probably not seen him play 90 minutes of football, just because they do not like Suarez they'll never admit it but its the truth!
Arsenal the club you support think he's worth more, I reckon they know what they are doing better than you, them running a football club and you sitting in front of a keyboard and monitor
Nuts Chelsea could have easily stumped up the cash, as could Madrid. Chelsea are getting their finances in order which is why they have not gone on a spree like they have in the last 8 or 9 seasons. I've no idea why Madrid didn't bid, if they wanted him at all.
Do you always talk such nonsense. Liverpool have no such issues with Arsenal fans and we had Suarez last season and you finished a couple of places above Liverpool. We're not bothered, we are rebuilding our team and not even thinking of Arsenal and why they'll finish above us in the league. You sir are talking out your backside You also seem to be an expert on Cavani and Suarez having seen **** all of both of them playing last season, now queue the lies about how you've been watching them both week in week out
Suarez has scored more goals at club and international level than cavani. He creates a lot more too. If Arsenal apparently have £100m to spend (bullshit), then you have no problem paying a similar price. Failing with the pound extra bid is funny, did your management just read the papers??
I wouldn't bother, Zlatan is just Yahtzeebrain-storming. He knows nothing about either player other than what he reads and a few youtube clips.
Suarez is top quality and proven in the premier league. No disrespect to Liverpool, but if he can score 23 with them, then imagine how many he could score with Cazorla, Walcott, Wilshere, Rosicky etc feeding him. I think with Suarez we'd have a really good shot at the title. He's a player who makes the difference. I don't think any player is worth £40m to be honest, it's a ****ing obscene amount of money. But like it or not it's the going rate and if as Gazidis has said we can compete with the top clubs on transfers and wages, then it's what we're going to have to fork out - and then some by the looks of it
Spurs fan in peace... Just read you lot have bid £40,000,001 for Suarez which has been rejected. It seems the tracksuit wearing, Jeremy Kyle watching scousers want more so I wanted to ask, do you guys think this would be a good deal for the club (value etc.) and do you actually want him because he comes with certain risks attached?
It all comes down to how much Liverpool want for him. The problem is Liverpool don't really want to sell and if they do, what will they do with the cash? They won't be able to attract anyone as high profile as Suarez. To have a player of Suarez's magnitude and struggle to 6th in the league just says how crap Liverpool really are. Take Suarez out and they have next to no chance breaking into the top 4. The one I feel most sorry for is Rodgers, he inherited one **** team.
Yes, of course I do. Proven goalscorer in the prem, he'd get bucket loads at Arsenal So he's ****. I'd rather he was a **** playing for us than scoring against us.
The Real issue here is that Liverpool are all butt-hurt because their best player wants to leave. Wether or not Liverpool fans think Arsenal are a bigger club or not does'nt really matter. It's down to Suarez - nobody wants to keep a player who does'nt want to play for them anymore. Only Madrid,PSG, Monaco, Chelsea and City will pay £50+ Million for the likes of Suarez/Cavani/Falcao etc. These teams pay inflated prices because most clubs know they can afford to push the transfer beyond the market value. Had these players gone to Barca, Bayern, Man United or ANYONE else £35-40 Million is about right. So yeah Suarez is worth as much as Cavani but Cavani was sold for considerably more than his real worth.
