Apparently Valencia have rejected a second bid from us for Soldado. Again, they reiterate the buyout clause. Although, it sounds like we're prepared to pay it - just not all in 1 go. We want to do most of it + add ons. From what I've read, Valencia seem happy enough to do this but they want the add-ons to be guarantees rather than maybes i.e. we want to do it on goals scored, they want appearances (something that's more likely to happen). It's all getting quite close I think - that is until Liverpool come in tomorrow and just pay the full fee.
