What went so wrong for him at Villa that he has to move again?

Something happened before the emergence of Benteke as there were calls from villa fans for bent to play. Lambert always said no failings out but methinks someone ****ed someone else's signifivpcant other

I thought it was something to do with appearance fees that Villa couldn't afford for Bent
 
Apparently Valencia have rejected a second bid from us for Soldado.

Again, they reiterate the buyout clause.

Although, it sounds like we're prepared to pay it - just not all in 1 go. We want to do most of it + add ons. From what I've read, Valencia seem happy enough to do this but they want the add-ons to be guarantees rather than maybes i.e. we want to do it on goals scored, they want appearances (something that's more likely to happen).

It's all getting quite close I think - that is until Liverpool come in tomorrow and just pay the full fee.
 
I was actually joking in my post about Liverpool.

Turns out there are rumours going around that Liverpool have agreed to pay the buy out clause for Soldado.

In which case, we're screwed.

I can't see them paying that kind of money though unless Suarez is def going - bizarre.
 
Fingers crossed we up our offer for Soldado! Gotten excited about him now :p

Also why the hell are Arsenal offering £40m for Suarez? Way overpriced and totally unreliable player.

He is suspended for the first few matches as well. According to many posters that is bound to cost a few points so lets hope that is right

Depends what other business arsenal do. They aren't desperate for a striker, so they'll cope. - especially if they get any other squad additions in before that.
 
Daily Star reckon Liverpool meeting Valencia today - make what you want of that.

Don't trust that paper after all the Bale stories they have been publishing.
