Wenger stated post match he was'nt after Bernard or any wide players. We should be after a CF and a DM. That's where our squad needs quality.
According to a well known and respected journalist whose name I can't write or pronounce, we have captured Bernard for 22m. Announcement on Thurs. As with everything, am always skeptical until it's on Arse.com. He writes for Belo Horizonte.
Can you dredge up the actual quote about the wide players? He was specifically asked if Bernard was having a medical on Thursday and (according to the Daily Fail) - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...rsene-Wenger-denies-Arsenal-deal-Bernard.html "But when quizzed on the transfer after Arsenalâs 3-1 friendly win over Nagoya Grampus on Monday Wenger simply said: 'Those reports are not true.'" It would be just like le Boss to be having a laugh, and say that because Bernard was having a medical on Friday...
Yep I saw that. Plenty of strength to the Suarez rumours tonight as well suggesting that £40m would see Liverpool dealing....
Apparently Napoli have yet again agreed terms with Higuain http://www.abc.es/realmadrid/20130722/abci-gonzalo-higuain-napoles-madrid-201307222104.html
Spurs have allegedly made a 30 million euro bid for Roberto Soldado. I'd take him here, criminally underrated player.
I doubt very much if he'll have a medical on Thursday as he's playing in the Copa Libertadores final on Wednesday
According to a Uruguayan journo (who's apparently pretty reliable when it comes to Uruguayan football matters), we're close to signing Suarez. Apparently he called Coates to Liverfool and Cavani to PSG before they happened, though any idiot could assume that PSG would try and sign Cavani.
Yeah, I just don't get this. Wenger has now himself confirmed that our buyout clause is "fixed" at 25M. That the 50% clause, is 50% of the entire sale and that he has "received word" (He is not allowed to talk to a Barcelona player ) that Fabregas doesn't want to leave. So even if Barcelona wanted to sell him for some completely bizarre reason: 1. Cesc doesn't want to leave. 2. Barcelona will take a huge loss on buying him after only 2 years (the full deal from Arsenal was valued at 40M) and 3. Arsenal might still be able to hijack the deal and make them look even more stupid, by making them take a full 15M loss, back to the club they bought him from. This is just so stupid. United fans should be very worried that these idiots are running their club; It is like the clowns at the circus.
I love it how many newspapers are reporting Bernard to Arsenal and all of them are using the L'EQUIPE story http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...-record-with-21m-bernard-signing-8726494.html
we haven't even had our 2nd bid rejected yet, they are going to decide when the new manager is in place, but Arsenal wont let it happen anyway.
