I was listening to Tim Vickery on 5 Live on Saturday morning and he said nothing would happen with Bernard before Thursday as he would be playing in the Libertadores <sic> Cup on Wednesday
Bernard AnÃcio Caldeira Duarte (born 8 September 1992), better known as Bernard, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Atlético Mineiro as a winger. A left-sided player, Bernard is known for his pace and energy
Vickery also said that Bernard lacked the physicality for the PL.SJW also heard Vickery so he can confirm what i'm saying
Personally I've never mentioned anything about Oscar or Ramires. Bernard came on for the last 10 minutes of the England v Brazil friendly. At the end of the game he was interviewed and said he was knackered and had never been in such a physical game
Not you you old git. Probably shagging sheep or something. We'd have to ease him in but I think he could cut it.
Good to see we are signing a player with potential, but someone that will take some adjusting. We need a ready to start player like Cazorla than someone needing time to bed in.
Don't mock what you haven't tried This is the L'EQUIPE story http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Bernard-vendredi-a-arsenal/387580
I am all for us signing Bernard, he is promising and very highly rated, and of course a massive upgrade on Gervinho. But if we sign him I can't see us moving for Cesc (if he is available this Summer that will be a massive let down).
Disagree with Vickery. These days Brazilians are a lot tougher, as Oxo said, Oscar & Ramires have proved many wrong.
I can't agree or disagree with Vickery about Bernard as I've hardly see him play.He only played a bit part in the Confederations Cup and certainly didn't play enough for me to form an opinion
