I was listening to Tim Vickery on 5 Live on Saturday morning and he said nothing would happen with Bernard before Thursday as he would be playing in the Libertadores <sic> Cup on Wednesday

Personally I've never mentioned anything about Oscar or Ramires.
Bernard came on for the last 10 minutes of the England v Brazil friendly.At the end of the game he was interviewed and said he was knackered and had never been in such a physical game

Not you you old git. Probably shagging sheep or something. We'd have to ease him in but I think he could cut it.
 
Good to see we are signing a player with potential, but someone that will take some adjusting. We need a ready to start player like Cazorla than someone needing time to bed in.
 
I am all for us signing Bernard, he is promising and very highly rated, and of course a massive upgrade on Gervinho. But if we sign him I can't see us moving for Cesc (if he is available this Summer that will be a massive let down).
