And with that, this fascinating day of Test cricket comes to an end. Once more, fortunes fluctuated, but it is Australia who will hit the pillow happier this evening. Join us tomorrow to see if they ram home the advantage, or if England battle back.
_______________

Hoping England will have a good talk among themselves tonight and come out of the traps running.

Get at the Aussies from the start and put the skids under them.

361 all out for England. Aussies reeling at 68-3. They need a recovery knock from their captitano! Khawaja dropped by Trotty so should be 4 down really. Aussies wasted both reviews and have none left for any umpire howlers. One to a plum lbw, one to a nick behind. Rogers should have reviewed and didn't. They are a right set of fannies when it comes to DRS. Hilarious.

Wasted quite a lot reviews in the series so far.

Two each for Swann and Bresnan, looks like Glenn McGrath is more interested in the lunches.

"The lunches here at Lord's are easily the best in the world: choice of starter and mains. I snuck in at lunch in training the other day and helped myself to the fine cuisine."

we're on the up I see.

Yes, looking quite good.

1441:
DRINKS BREAK - Aus 79-4 (27 overs)

Even the non-striker's stumps are helping England, preventing a Clarke straight drive off Broad from going for runs. England may want to replace Tim Bresnan at mid-off with a set of stumps as Clarke's lovely cover drive goes under Bresnan's draw-bridge dive and runs for four. Time for a drink.

Fall of wicket: 42-1 (Watson 30), 50-2 (Rogers 15), 53-3 (Hughes 1), 69-4 (Khawaja 14)

The groundsman placed the stumps in exactly the right place. He'll no doubt be accused of cheating now.

1613:
WICKET - Siddle c Swann b Anderson 2 (Aus 104-8)

The Aussies won't be singing, "Swanny, how I love you my Swanny river."

If he isn't bowling them he's catching them.

I wouldn't ask them to follow on. I'd have their bowlers spend as long as possible in the field and set an impossible target. This is our chance to grind them down to zero and step on their throats. You get nothing for being nice.
