Surely, as Holt was arguably our first choice striker, RvW is his replacement.
I wouldnt have sold Holt without another striker coming in however, I have faith that we must have plenty of targets available. Maybe Hooper won't come here but I wouldnt want him hear if he chooses to play for QPR. There are other options available we just wont know who they are at this moment in time.
I am disapointed to miss out on Hooper (if we do) but the only reason that will happen is because QPR are throwing money around again and if thats the case they clearly havent learnt there lesson.

Good question. Maybe a team with a striker who isn't totally content with where he is, and would consider a loan with a view to purchase option.
I saw that Feyenoord were interested in taking a fully fit John Guidetti on a season long loan.
Maybe we could "intervene" in that arrangement?
Put it this way, I'd rather we signed Maxi Jazz.
Or even Austin Maxi
