I am slightly concerned that getting turned down/away from atleast 3 attacking players were going to resort to a panic buy!
why? there is SIX weeks of the transfer window left toivonen and quag are quality players, we are probably punching above our weight, it comes with the territory

See the reason I say panic buy, is cos of supers point above. Maxi lopez is s*** and I have no idea why we would want to sign him. So it's either a BS rumour or it's a panic buy in my eyes.
he's been linked to loads of clubs hasn't he? sky italia know we want a striker and as far as i'm aware, they are the only people linking us to him.
Why don't people always give the "source" of the rumours they report, then the rest of us'll know whether to take them seriously?
