That's 4 questions![]()
Where did they go, which teams did they play, what were the scores and who scored the goals?
That any better?

At the end of the 68/69 season the team went to Malta as I recall, and played Sliema Wanderers and Valetta. I assume we won them - I think Sliema was 3-0 the other I don't know. I`ll guess at Endean, Scullion, Keith Eddy and Terry Garbett. It was all just after Ken Furphy's testimonial against Arsenal.

are the answers in the centenary book? Not that it matters, can't find mine at the moment
I confess to supplementing my memory with google for this one as I couldn't see anyone getting it any other way. the Valetta game was 2-1, and the 5 scorers were Barry Endean (Got that one), Tom Walley, Roy Sinclair and Walter Lees + an own goal.
I won't ask who scored the own goal
- although he shares his name with a dirty Palarse/Millwall/Wolves player of Australian extraction.I won't ask who scored the own goal

My question. What is the total number of people named or referred to in the titles of all of Charles Dickens novels ? (Short stories not included).
Ten?

Er, 11 is right (not with Carol) so, over to you.
They were: Oliver Twist
David Copperfield
Nicholas Nickleby
Martin Chuzzlewit
Dombey and Son = 2
Mr. Pickwick
Barnaby Rudge
Our Mutual Friend
Edwin Drood
Little Dorrit
