At the end of the 68/69 season the team went to Malta as I recall, and played Sliema Wanderers and Valetta. I assume we won them - I think Sliema was 3-0 the other I don't know. I`ll guess at Endean, Scullion, Keith Eddy and Terry Garbett. It was all just after Ken Furphy's testimonial against Arsenal.

Part 3 - one correct score
Part 4 - one correct scorer (Endean) - four more to name

I confess to supplementing my memory with google for this one as I couldn't see anyone getting it any other way. the Valetta game was 2-1, and the 5 scorers were Barry Endean (Got that one), Tom Walley, Roy Sinclair and Walter Lees + an own goal.

<applause> I won't ask who scored the own goal <laugh> - although he shares his name with a dirty Palarse/Millwall/Wolves player of Australian extraction.

My question. What is the total number of people named or referred to in the titles of all of Charles Dickens novels ? (Short stories not included).

He was Scunthorpe Utd's reserve centre forward. I remember the Adidas football boots advertised by him with that byline.
