If it's not the stinkhorn - or is it I'm confused - it's a mushroom not a flower. I have a very stinky wild flower in my garden which just about answers the description, called the 'Stinkende Storchsnabel', Geranium Robertianum. I think it's called red robin in English.
Geranium Robertianum is commonly known as herb robert a wild flower in a lot of Europe, usually found in hedgerows. It can be used as a herbal remedy for pain relief.
It's origins are Saxon so, in terms of England, SE England? Unfortunately for you, it's also an alternative spelling of Blatter....
