I was lucky enough to be on the outside of Redgate in '92 when Senna drove *that* lap in the pouring rain. Special day (even for a bike fan like you!), but jeeze it was cold...!

Forget the hundred lead, looks like we won't have any lead at all.

Got an ODI field at the moment, runs there for the taking. This will have completely knocked the wind out of our players.

This is something I know a fair bit about, I went to a meeting with one of their directors last year. I was quite dubious at the time, as I've met my fair share of chancers over the years (best example of which was Simon Gillett the worst a man can get - at Donington) but these guys actually seem pretty reputable and I think it probably will happen.

It can be a bizarre game sometimes. Who could have predicted this?!

The bookies would have given huge odds about an Aussie 1st innings lead when the 9th wicket went down. Sometimes you just can't make it up!

Hopefully it finds its way onto the BTCC calendar if it does come about. This track and Anglesey, I've heard nothing but good things about it since it was redone. Now can we get a good track in NI soon <laugh>

    Not sure if already mentioned:

Marian Pahars is the new Latvia manager.

They were already mine, but that's pretty great. His squad isn't quite as good as it was a decade ago, but they have a decent back line, captained by Gorkss, and the player who I think is the next Pahars, Valerijs Sabala, is hopefully getting good just in time to replace the ageing Verpakovskis.

Other decent players are Aleksandrs Cauna (left wing, formerly of Watford, now CSKA) and Artjoms Rudnevs, striker for Hamburg.
