50 partnership for the last wicket. Irritating. Agar certainly doesn't look like a number 11........

Doesn't look a number 11 but Finn has made him look far better than he is, I quite like Finn but bowling bouncers on this pitch at this stage is like batting practice. Both the tactics and then the actual bowling from Finn have been fairly embarrassing to be honest.

Agreed. Glad Jimmy is back on now. Agar is clearly a ringer ;)

A new World Championship standard race track has been given planning permission to be built in South Wales:

Personally, I'd be a bit concerned about the local environment, and also that one or two attempts have been made in this country to just upgrade race tracks, and Donington failed. At least it could boost the local South Wales economy a fair bit.

Shame about Donington. The Craner Curves would grace any racetrack around the world.

True. I was just thinking of parts of the Donington track that I don't like, and I can't think of a place. I used to think the Melbourne Loop was a waste, but I like it too. One thing of note - it's not the grippiest track in the World, even in the dry, and hence bike riders never put it on their list of favourite tracks. I suppose car drivers wouldn't care so much.
