    Shame, I quite like him as a pundit, but seems he is amongst the enlightened ones who see us going nowhere.

    Why does everyone associated with Celtic think he will move on again in such a short time? We'll get him on a long contract and we're not in the habit of selling our best players anymore.

    Even bearing in mind how good anyone can look on a short video, Wanyama looks very impressive and just the kind of strong player we need. Hopefully, he will be a huge (literally) asset to us, but we also have something to give him....good coaching in a playing side, experience in the PL, and good fans (who will also give him space to lead a private life). I can see interest in him if he has a good season, but doubt he will be allowed to leave in a year (or want to). We are not as piddling as Hartson might think.

    John Hartson left Celtic for an (at the time) Championship club in West Brom, in so I'm not sure what he's moaning about. I know he was at a vastly different stage of his career but all his rubbish about adulation and attention for playing for such a big club is surely still relevant as he left Celtic for a non-top six side?
