Top quality player not helped playing for a team like Man City. I have no doubt he would be a hit for Arsenal. Big, powerful, good technical ability and a great shot.
I think I'm just going to avoid all sports news through the week and just check it once every Saturday morning, it's too nice a summer to waste on stressing about bloody transfer speculation.
What's all this talk of some big reveal at the kit launch today, is it going to be the Bergkamp statue?
Rumours gathering pace that the world's greatest centre forward will soon be ****ing off to Frankfurt and taking his Paddy Power knickers with him
No, because we already have Giroud who's bound to improve this season and can essentially become a Dzeko for us, Giroud's our 6 ft big striker.
I agree (mostly) Higuain is a better deal because he can play down the right as well. I can see us hunting a goal in the last 20 minutes of a game with Cazorla-Giroud-Higuain or Podolski-Giroud-Higuain as the front 3.
I actually quite like Gervinho. For me he's not a first choice starter but a good player to bring in off the bench. On the striker front both Higuain and Suarez are just the right 'type'(and quality) of striker for our squad. So Wenger could be doing the right thing with the Suarez bid - If Liverpool accept we land a TOP class player in Suarez. If Real Madrid react and outbid us then our chances of landing Higuaine massively improve.
AFC Academy ‏@AFCAcademy Just been told by the Arsenal staff they’ve been ordered to deter fans from purchasing Number 4 Mertesacker shirts. #afc Wonder who they are keeping number 4 for
