    One day isn't long enough. You've got to stay longer to appreciate it.

    Believe me. Hope was not impressive at all, as I'm sure anyone who has been there will tell you

    The Times has the goal scoring Mr. Otter being loaned back to Watford for the next season. Would such a quality newspaper get it wrong.?

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/...rco-Davide-Faraoni-considering-Watford-switch

    I know not exactly 'news' as we already know he's going to sign, but I love the comment by the bitter Palace fan;

    "eagles_tel says July 4, 2013 8:16pm
    I don't get it I thought Watford were under a transfer embargo? How can they continue to sign these players - it's an outrage. I shall be writing a strongly worded letter to the FA as this is a shambles. I fully support Ian Holloway who is an inspiration to all eagles fans but how can he do his job when we get pipped to players like Acuna by Watford who we beat in the play-off final and have to settle for Carlton Cole and Dwight Gayle for £8.5m. They are signing much better players than us this guy Faraoni is miles ahead of Joel Ward. How are we supposed to compete in the prem when we resort to signing Watford rejects like this Bangura chap. Disgraceful."

    Not really sure where to start with it.....

    Brilliant, one day these guys might realise we are working to a well scripted plan and are a proper proposition not a one or two season flash in the pan as the west country twat specializes in....

    Gold dust, absolute gold dust. I can't remember seeing a more brilliantly ignorant comment.

    I would suggest that this is a brilliant Watford fan wind-up! How many genuine Palarse fans would remember Al Bangura?

    If I were a Palace fan...and I thank the Lord each day I'm not...I'd be slightly troubled at the notion that IH is "an inspiration to all eagles fans", though actual eagles may well speak the same language <laugh>

    I did consider that to be honest, but much more fun thinking it is a Palace fan

    As for Al, he was rather forgettable on the pitch, but maybe not off it after helping him out so much (although it is a different one they are after)

    Maybe, but it is a different Bangura. Al played last season for Forest Green and this guy comes from somewhere else. (Can't remember)

    Umaru Bangura from FK Haugelund, not our former player.

    I thought I read that we did sign him some years ago only to not be able to get a work permit so he went on loan without ever coming to the UK before signing a perm deal & then transfering to his present club?

    Great news! Hopefully we'll also sign Romero, who will provide some flair down he left, with Pudil being utilised when we need someone a bit more defensively-minded. It's good to have different options in each position.
