<laugh> don't know how I missed that.

Considering TBM has just called a truce, I won't go too in depth.

The named comedians all get many complaints, Boyle doubly so. The audience are of course select, but not so specific that no one is offended - not unlike the joke thread. There was warning no matter what anyone said.

Oh, and the ethnic groups thing was a cheap shot. Just because I used them as examples does not mean I separate them into groups or see them as any different from anyone else.

Safe to say I failed the depth bit.

So can we all act like grown ups now, draw a line under all this, agree not to go on crusades about what we believe is right and wrong and refrain from posting things we know will get a rise from others.

And carry on doing the thing we all come on here to do in unison: support our club, and laugh at Leeds and Leicesters misfortunes.

I'm signing up for that

My missus decided to wear a burka for a week just to see what the public reaction was like.

The first morning she was swore at, punched on the nose and received death threats.

**** knows what's going to happen when she leaves the house !

<ok>

I found the missus dead in the washing machine.

I'm absolutely gutted but at least she died in comfort.

(Apologies to all those who have lost spouses in washing machine accidents)

Bloke goes to buy a talking dog, he gets there, dogs says 'alright mate?

Bloke says '****in ell, seen it all now'

Dog says "i've won crufts 5 times, been on tv, in films sniffed out explosives in Iraq and run 8 marathons'

Bloke says to owner 'Why you selling him then?'

Owner says "cos he's a lying ****!"

the thread had a specific title, it had a specific purpose for jokes of that type, so why on earth did you feel the need to read it? If you don't like something don't read it ffs.

I don't like snakes, would i then go and sit in a pen with them and moan to hell about not liking them? Course i wouldn't.

Whatever your view is and your view on racism it doesn't matter, that thread was specifically there for jokes of that nature, jokes that some people like you had no need to read it so why did you? Just because you wanted to force your opinion on others.

My opinion is that some of those jokes crossed the line, did i say that in that thread? Ofc i bloody didn't as it was my fault for reading that thread.

Now can we just get on with talking about football ffs.

Utt!

amen!

I go away for a few weeks and this happens!!

The place has descended into pure anarchy.

Be warned, The Sheriff is back in town girls so less of it.

Think on.

In my opinion, one of two extremes should be taken. There should either be an outright ban on any non-football talk, or anything (within reason) should be allowed. It's difficult to pinpoint where to draw the line on topics such as jokes, and it's also difficult to pinpoint when an off topic thread has run its course, which is why I think one of these two extremes should be taken to make the forum simpler to police.

Personally, I only come on this board to talk about Hull City and football, so I would prefer it if a rule of football-talk only was enforced. However, I understand that this is not the case for other more active members.

As an inveterate poster of off-topic threads, I start my thread title with O/T: - wouldn't that be enough to indicate to you that you should stay away from it?
