I'm not sure who it was that posted that, but we deleted it and all posts quoting it. If that poster made a habit of it, only then would he be banned. We're very tolerant on this board and basically people only get banned after they've been warned repeatedly. Even Rolling_Thunder and epic-cheese lasted a while before inevitably being banned. I know you and Dutch don't get on sometimes, but you're no less 'in favour' with myself (and I daresay Ricardo too) than any other poster. It's a good example though, because that incident sums up the moderation policy on this board which some seem to not understand. We only delete or close threads when it's totally necessary like in that case. Agreed and the way this site works is that each board is left to moderate in their own way to their own pre-defined set of rules, as long as it's legal basically. There are boards much less tolerant than ours on here and even some who are more tolerant. Nowhere on this site do we pretend that it is child-friendly. Also I fully agree with that last paragraph of Dutch's.
You have just drawn a line under my point fez in saying you find cancer jokes distasteful but not the same category as te others. There are a lot people who get seriously offended about cancer in equal measure to the other subjects. It's all about personal taste and opinion and in your opinion, making jokes about most sensitive issues in wrong, in my opinion anything goes when it comes to humour.
