New Top Gear. :1980_boogie_down:

Cor..! NZ is just as pretty as when I lived there. I've driven some of the 55 miles of 90 Mile Beach and driven on Oreti Beach where they filmed the bike race in The World's Fastest Indian. That bit where Clarkson is about to drive through Auckland and expresses a worry that it might be jammed with traffic..? Not on your life. No part of NZ has ever been jammed with traffic unless there has been a major accident. There just aren't enough people there. :)

BTW, thanks for the heads-up, tom.

B-Spec mode on GT5 is very odd. You create a new driver and he drives for you while you bark instructions at him. It's pretty dull, but it does mean I can play PS3 and browse Not606/Reddit at the same time, so in a way I'm living the dream.

B-Spec mode is so stressful though, because usually, at least at the earlier levels, your driver is useless and either spins really easily or takes corners at a horendously slow speed meaning even if you have a TVR Tuscan vs Ford Fiestas, he'll still find it difficulty. It might sound counter intuitive, but from what I can remember best, you want a driver who isn't cool-headed, or at least there stats are more hot-headed. I dunno if that means they get hot-headed easier or if they're better at coping when they do get hot-headed.

I've watched 8+ minutes of highlights on BBC Sport by skipping bits, It was quite good. I'm going to have to watch the entire Dutch TT MotoGP programme from yesterday again to recover though. I feel slightly tainted by the safety of two extra wheels. :)

I'll correct you. For quite a few, it was one extra wheel

Koenigsegg plows into spectators in Poland. There's no noticeable gore in the video as it's quite far away, and as far as I know no one is dead (yet), but pretty distressing nonetheless.

Looked like the car didn't have a rear wing on it, which is disastrous, as Top Gear proved a few years back. So all that power is going to the rear tyres, with nothing pushing them down into the road...always a recipe for disaster, especially at a parade/car show like the one in the video.

Billy sharp has just been on twitter and says he's off to Wimbledon today to watch the tennis. Presumably he's been told not to come in for pre-season.
