What's the point in offering good money for players which is acceptable to the club if the player/agent doesn't like our terms? Have to be prepared to back the offer up with the wages (even if other players have to get a rise as well). Otherwise go for players who would fancy our terms.

You can shove Kayal and Forrest up your arse. Complete ****e.

Bit unfair. Kayal is nothing special but Forrest is one of the better players to be developed at Celtic and is still improving. Has the saints characteristic of young pact and hungry. We are probably already looking at better players though to be perfectly honest.

Hail Hail

Celtic Fan here

I don't think Victor Wanyama would suit Southampton, Don't get me wrong Southampton ain't a diddy team Southampton for me have always been a Premiership team maybe Southampton would be a correct team for the likes of Beram Kayal or James Forrest but I don't think Victor Wanyama would cut it at St. Mary's, sorry but I don't.
Bit weird that for your first post you choose to post on another teams forum.....

And of course this is 100% reliable.

Indeed, just as with the agents, this is all part of negotiations. Of course their chairman is going to say he's not for sale. These things tend to change pretty quickly when a wad of cash is thrust in their direction.

Not saying there's necessarily any truth in these rumours, that's just a general rule.

So, just before training starts again, we have no believable rumours or even half-believable rumours. Hope the quiet is just before the storm, but not hopeful.

With a quarter of a million views on this thread now, we are not desperate for SOME information are we?

There is still plenty of time and the important thing for me is that our best players are not being linked with moves elsewhere. Maybe they don't want to give their watches back.

Umm Wanyama is still a target as we still have a bid accepted by Celtic.

Unfortunately it sounds like Cardiff are ready to match our transfer offer, so if they're stupid enough to give the agent what he wants, it doesn't look good. However, I bet there's a good chance Wanyama doesn't fancy Cardiff.
