That total bollocks, Ricky Gervais's aint hiding behind a anonymity He is held accountable for his actions, Who the **** are you? your all hiding behind you keyboards!!! what statement is that? If you are confident add your real names and address and put these jokes up on FB and twitter with your name to them!
By all means go for it. But then by assuming they'll be offended because they're black is racist isn't it? Or is it a coincidence that you only chose 2 of our black players as examples of people who could be offended?
I have no idea what their sense of humour is, frankly I know black people that enjoy this humour and black people who don't. Same with many of my white friends etc
The point of this humour is to select your audience carefully or else it may cause offence, given the title of this thread acting as a warning to what the content is it seemed a perfect place to post this type of humour to people who also appreciate it. None of us would post these jokes on any other type of thread because we wouldn't want to offend and we don't know the audience.

So listing all the jokes in this thread "ALL the jokes" who in the real word is your audience? And as you seem to be standing by what you said and agree with the jokes. whats your name and address!
I wouldn't post these things on twitter or fb because there are hundreds of people that might get offended, which isn't he point of these jokes, I do share them in person with friends/family who I know think they're funny too. Isn't that more bold given that twitter and fb are also a form of hiding behind a keyboard?
Gervais has a well known sense of humour so people who are offended by his jokes don't watch it and those who enjoy it do. It all comes back to selecting your audience for this type of humour (gervais' audience's select themselves nowadays because of his reputation) and as I've previously said that's why none of us who've posted these jokes have done it on other threads before, but this thread is so blatantly for people who don't get offended by this humour so what's the problem?
If you don't like it, don't read it. Block is all, do what you want. Just don't try to persuade us that your sense of humour is right and ours is wrong, because that's an argument that will never end unless we simply agree to disagree.

You've just proven your inability to separate a joke from the real world, I don't assume any of those things about black people. They're jokes based upon stereotypes about black people, some people think they're true (and they're racist) but I don't.
If you don't believe me, I won't lose any sleep

As i've already stated, my belief is that this humour is for a select audience as I wouldn't want to cause offence. If people who are offended come across it in a place where it's made clear what they'll find I have no sympathy.
I won't post it to them because I don't know if they'd appreciate it, why would I purposely run the risk of offending someone? That wouldn't be very nice would it? So I'll stick to keeping my more extreme humour to those who I know aren't offended by it thanks.

Actually given the title and OP I thought it would ward people off that don't like it, you might notice that since this argument kicked off I haven't posted anymore jokes because I don't like offending people. I still have no regrets about posting originally though in hindsight it was a mistake (causing offence, not the jokes in the first place)
