My mate runs into a guy high up at City through work and reports back with info he gets. He tells me we're trying to offload Brady, Chester and Meyler. If the media tell you something different, i'll report back with that info instead <ok>

If he's getting that information I would suggest your mate runs OVER the guy.

I'd have thought Fryatt, Proschwitz, Hobbs and Cairney would be available at the right price, while we will actively be looking to sell McLean and perhaps Jakupovic too. Our out of contract players cut a lot of dead wood off, what's left is pretty much our first team and a load of first year professionals.

We should really be looking to loan out Townsend (League 1), Wilson (League 2), Margetts, McElroy and Cracknell (maybe to Ferriby or BSN, on the proviso that they actually get game time and not end up like Danny Emerton)

I'd expect Mclean to be available on a freebie to be honest. Cant see anyone paying a fee and they can just take over his contract. I was always a big Nige fan and as much as Ive gotta love Mclean's work ethic and commitment whilst not being a troublecauser, he really is a ****e footballer. Surely Posh want him, dont they?

Personally I like Corry, it just seems SB wasn't a big fan last year (playing Alex Bruce instead of him numerous times) and this year is a whole huge step up, so I was thinking SB might be prepared to let him go out on load.
 
I actually think Cairney will go out on loan, might re-ignite hs career and come back a different player, although it might be an attitude thing

Mclean & Stewart definite transfers. Jakopovic might be a loan if we can't find a buyer. Fryatt & Hobbs 50/50 - i think Hobbs is the more likely to leave, although I think we could see Matty going back to Leicester!

Big Nick should go out on loan, can't see us selling him to be honest

Hobbs, Cairney and Jakupovic are in their final years, if they go out on loan for this season, we'll never see them again.

I can see Fryatt going to Forest.

I don't hate him, he did a half decent job last season, but he's nowhere near a Premier League player.

If his dad wasn't the gaffer, he'd be on his way out now, the fact that we're considering keeping him and shipping out Hobbs is ridiculous.
