McLean or Fryatt plus cash for Hooper or Austin? Gets us a discount, takes money off the wage bill, placates Burnley/Celtic fans a little?

Surely Burnley would see £3m + McLean & Fryatt as a decent deal for Championship football? We could throw in Stewart for the Celtic deal.....

I like the idea but my issue with that would be this. That leaves us Austin or Hooper and Pro as the only strikers on contract. I think that if we are going to off load Fryatt for a deal it shouldnt be in the deal for the first striker we sign as there is no guarantee we get a decent 2nd striker in. I am ignoring Mclean for obvious reasons. And do we want Hooper and Austin with only Pro as backup?

The idea of using Fryatt as a makeweight in any deal is a good idea, but as he's moved back to the midlands for family reasons, can't see Scotland or Lancs as options for him. McLean would probably be pretty good in Scotland but doubt Celtic would put much value on him as part of any deal. Don't know of any players from the midlands that we're linked with that we'd deal with Fryatt for.

I expect Fryatt to go to Forest or Derby.

Cairney would be a good signing for a team like Barnsley who I expect to really kick on this year.

Jakupovic hopefully will go to anyone who will take him or maybe as a make weight or trade for our no. 2.

Evans and maybe Dudgeon might and probably should go on loan (maybe only till Christmas and re assess) to get game time depending who comes in this window. They both have great potential so I'd hate to see them leave permanently.

I don't think Hobbs should leave but if he is the CB to make way then hopefully only a half season loan. Then if Faye, Bruce or McShane really aren't coping with the PL we can keep him in the squad for the remaining part as added strength.

Surely we can hope Peterborough would be interested in Mclean?

I think Proschwitz will be given another shot

Season long loan and ive heard from one of the local media chaps that Jakupovic is 50/50 about staying here. Any offer and SB will let him go.

Lets hi-jack the Palace bid. It gets Aaron Mclean back home to the Posh and we can throw in Cammy Stewart who is now only a league one player. Everyone wins.

Nope. He is away at the moment on holiday after ROI duties. No isssues on this one i suspect.
