Fran, that's made my morning! I crept outside about ten minutes ago because the neighbour's cat was crouched down behind a flower pot stalking either the birds or our new rabbits..... so I snuck up behind it and whacked the flower pot with a piece of metal. The cat crapped itself!

I prefer your idea though and I have a few old garlic bulbs left over from planting out mine, that are sat in a tub with rain water in!! :emoticon-0116-evilg
