A Dutch international on a free, previously linked with some big clubs and Kinnear reckons he can get better ?
I feel for you guys.
 
If his agents are messing us about again making excessive demands, leave it. Other wise if this is Kinnear trying to show his authority or like bizzareknives say Kinnear really thinks he can get better than Douglas on a free I am very worried

I will attempt to believe this.

It does, however, have a Kinnear-ish feel. Perhaps the signing wasn't as imminent as suggested, but the charging in like a blind dinosaur rings true

But Ashley should never, ever have made such a blazingly foolish decision in the first place and made it so easy to target us as a disaster club. Bollox to anything else about this folly, the standout reason for never employing Kinnear is to just not bring unwanted attention to yourself.

The tide against Pardew was kept back to a split percentage of supporters, but appointing Joke just throws the weight of Fleet Street against your club and it's very, very difficult to turn that tide. One decent result gets fans onside, but with Joke every, single sh!t decision will be labelled as fuel on the fire, lumbering from one crisis to another. Ashley really is a far, far stupider individual than I ever thought possible.

I need to believe that this is mischief making right now, because if it is true and this is a taste of the future, then l for one, will simply have had enough of it.
I don't buy a season ticket as l live to far away to come to every home game. That said l regularly spend close on a grand a season attending those games l can. But not a penny more of my hard earned if this nonsense continues. Really had enough of it now.

There's no such thing as a free transfer. Douglas ran down his contract didn't he? That means his people can hawk him around to the highest bidder of piles of cash to him and his gang.

Does that sound a good idea to pursue? Clue - QPR would probably be up for it.

It's all smoke and mirrors. We'll probably sign him for less cash ...
 
Douglas will end up in Russia like every other money grabbing twat. However, doesn't sound like Joking Ear has even had time to asses the deal properly. He takes me as the kind of bloke who makes decisions on gut instinct off a quick glance. Dangerous man to give power to if that's his game.
