    I was thinking this. It might be a 'free' transfer, but if his wage demands are out if line with the club policy, then he can take a walk. Also wouldn't be guaranteed a start and some reports stated he wanted assurances. So again, if he would rock the boat when not in the starting 11 then "no thanks".
