Yeah, yeah... <laugh>

Don't know what you're laughing at, most (Hull) City fans have been saying this from the start, we wouldn't mind him but only for a reasonable fee, you blatantly overrate him.

Anyway, I don't know why Proud re-started this thread ....

As i have said Kasper wont sign for Hull. Mark that as a fact

Surely a man of such insight into the club with his supreme knowledge on club affairs giving such a definite statement should end all debate and/or discussion on the matter?

Oh, hang on ...

We will get second. With the back 5 solid and the best in league and with St. Ledger and Whitbread close to returning that will only increase our options. The front 3 of Wood, Nugent and Knockaert will score enough goals to get us over the line

Perhaps everything Proud says isn't gospel. <yikes>

<laugh>

Fact- Ross Turnbull has more medals from his time at Chelsea then appearances

If Kasper did go then I would go after either Keiren Westwood or try and get Jack Butland on loan

I wouldn't take butland, any number of keepers are better than him. I have no idea why he is rated so highly but the guy is such a liability, the media have just gone mental about him as he is a young english goalkeeper and everyone has just believed the hype.

I agree with you - although - I might caveat it with "right now" - I've only seen the lad play 3 or 4 times but in those games he has looked more Sunday League than Premier League - but he is still very young for a keeper - what he needs is to have someone like Peter Shilton coaching him, then you never know.

I am reliably informed, that we've decided against increasing our bid for Kasper and we will sign McGregor early next week.

I knew common sense would prevail.

Now you've just got to hope that no-one else comes in for him.

I've heard from a reliable source that we might be after him as back up for Schmeichel and Logan <whistle>

Is the info as reliable as it was when you told us Nigel wasnt leaving Hull?

I don't want a loan keeper if Kasper leaves - we should bring in someone permanently.

Ross Turnbull or Lee Camp would both be worth a punt at this level - available on a free too.

i dont wum on here and post sensible things and i genuinely believe kasper would be a leading premier league goalkeeper.

hull fans - we have been blessed with good keepers over the years in keller, walker, even fulop (going back to shilton etc is pointless, different game) and KS is by far the best i think i have seen

Camp isn't that good, won't make any saves that you would consider great or even particularly good. Quite reliable at collecting crosses and distribution etc. from what I've seen anyway

Weale was great for us for a few seasons

Steve Bruce is ready to make a final bid to land top goalkeeping target Kasper Schmeichel.

The Hull boss has failed with three bids to prise Schmeichel away from Leicester and the last was £2million plus defender Jack Hobbs.
I doubt they will increase this bid tbh. £2.5m and Hobbs seems pretty good if they do bid in that region though.
