Stockdale Chester Faye McShane Elmo Meyler Koren Quinn Brady Aluko Simpson Subs: Jakupovic, Bruce, Rosenior, Fathi, Boyd, Gedo, Proschwitz Of our most regular starting 11, Pearson brought in 3 (4 if you count Brady who Bruce re-signed) and of the bench 1 of the 7 were Pearson's signings (Hobbs would have been on there too had he been fit for longer). Conversely, 7 of the starting XI are Brucey's and 6 of the subs, with McShane having come in before either manager. Essentially, it was nowhere near Pearson bringing in the right players and Brucey rolling with it, that's be like saying your team is Svens signings and Pearson is just rolling with it.
Difference is that Pearson left your owners with the capital to let Bruce spend, Sven left us with less to spend, although it didnt seem effect our spending last season due to the owners backing the manager, i believe it will effect our transfer budget this summer unless we can shift the rest of the unused, high paid Sven signings. Some of the players Pearson signed for you were pivotal players for you over the season ... Chester ... Koren ... Brady .... no doubt Hobbs would have played a big part if he hadn't been injured too. James Chester 3828' 44 Ahmed El Mohamadi 3666' 41 Stephen Quinn 3654' 42 Robert Koren 3095' 40 Robbie Brady 2606' 32 Jay Simpson 2554' 43 http://www.worldfootball.net/team_einsaetze/hull-city/eng-championship-2012-2013/nach-minuten/
He sure does, hence why we're in the Premier League. I agree that Pearson brought some decent players here (as well as some absolute ****e), but to suggest that he brought in this team and Bruce has just "kept the ball rolling" is wildly inaccurate as Bruce brought in and gelled the vast majority of our squad from scratch, and Pearson didn't sign Brady, he loaned him and he was ****e whilst Nige was here, Bruce re-signed him and he was a revelation.
Pearson taking credit for Simpson would be hilarious, he thought he was ****e, the minute he signed Fryatt and McLean, he booked Simpson a cab.
Rumours circulating..Kasper has handed in a transfer request..he has his heart set on a move to hull..and who can blame him? its beyond temptation..
Some "itk" on twitter comes up with bollocks and people believe him Players return for testing on Tuesday. Why would he hand in a transfer request today?
#lcfc players return on Tuesday for 1 day pre season testing. They return for pre season training on the 1st July Kasper wont put a transfer request in today if he could do it on Tuesday face to face. Its a pile of bollocks started by a 12 year old pretending to be an agent or something
A very big pull. They pulled Nigel from here But as they say. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing so Nigel had to go
It's a bad thing that I'm still at work ... it's a good thing there is cold beer and trifle in the fridge for when I get home.
