McGregor isn't crap, he's played in 29 internationals, along with many Champions League and the Europa League games and if he played for Leicester you'd value him at £4m minimum(like you do all your other players).

Schwazer would only be a short term fix.

Kasper would either impress in the PL(in which case his value would increase significantly), or he'd **** up(and it would go down).

Ergo, Kasper is the biggest risk of the three and the most expensive.

I'd take Schwarzer on a free and sign either Forde or Moore as a No.2.

Piece of piss this football management lark.

29 International caps for Scotland, now there is something to shout about

Rab Douglas managed to get 19 and he is awful. Kasper will only get better in his career. In 5 years from now he will be at a top club

Having watched Kasper for 2 years now he is worth that. He is a top class goalkeeper, you lot need to get over your vendetta against him. Move on, you have had better keepers since in Andy Lonergan and worse keepers in Rachubka.

<laugh> your forgetting I want him to move on for the highest possible fee just hoping we had the sense to put in a sell-on clause of sorts.

You also need to remember that you seem to rate everyone of your first team over 5m when you only managed to finish 7 points above our lowly leeds united

He was the best 'keeper in the league last season (hence he made the team of the season).

Who do you suggest we get that will come in and be better?

Alex McCarthy <ok>

Best keeper in the Championship.

We need a Premier League keeper.

Which is rather the point.

which schwarzer is proven there. Its all well and good having a keeper for the next 10 years but you need a keeper that can keep you in the league which lets be honest you are gonna be under huge pressure from relegation next season. Can Kasper really be up to the task

If you think like that you will have to sell your whole squad. And buy proven prem players like Jimmy Bullard like they did last time. Hull need to think carefully in that if they do come back down they have the infrastructure to allow them to challenge straight away again and now have to have someone like Nigel Pearson come in and do a recover mission. Promotion last time sent Hull backwards not forwards

I agree but they will need some prem experience in there. Going to game 1 of the season without anyone with prem experience will not keep them there imo.

In fact, just on researching, schwarzer is 40. I would be tempted to give it a miss in this case. Thought he was around 36, even for a goalkeeper that is old

Proud, do you know how last seasons PFA Championship Keeper Of The Year got on in the Premier League?

A 35 year old who has failed already before with Sunderland in the Prem. He isnt on Kasper's level

I would much rather keep Kasper then sell to you so if you dont want to pay up im more then happy

Hes bought Hobbs twice, if he doesn't see something in the lad, he wouldn't have took him to Hull.

Has experience at playing at this level for 3-4 seasons now and its not as if he had made major mistakes when he was here, he just got swamped under Svens cheque book.

Alot of Leicester fans would love him to come back, Brown and Hobbs worked, so why can't Morgan and Hobbs?

He bought Hobbs to play league 1 - he bought him again because he was relatively cheap and buying him would improve the defensive options at Hull ... what you haven't mentioned is that he did not seek to bring him back - despite bids for Koren, Chester and Stewart ...

Brown and Hobbs were 'OK' nothing more I'm afraid ...

Easy to blame Sven for everything but the guy has a fantastic managerial record ... and soon decided Hobbs was no more than average ... which I agreed with at the time and haven't changed my mind on since. The only positive thing I can say about his distribution is that Matt Mill's was worse.
