I wish. I wish. They were the best years of my life and sadly long ago now.
Yeah, I pretty much gathered as such, but I thought it made an interesting twist.

The Greeks brought a lot of it on themselves. At a time we were raising our retirement age, they decided to use Euro funds to retire people in their fifties. Probably simplistic, but an example of their poor financial management.
There's also a very misleading statistic which people use to claim that they're the hardest-working people in Europe. The truth is they have the longest working hours, but seem to spend all those hours doing very little, and spend half the day on their lunch break. Generally the country has been too lazy (or laid-back, if you want to put a positive spin on it) and their productivity has to improve a lot.
Or, if you don't want to stress yourself into an early grave, they may have a better balance than we have here, The mistake is to work and work until you either die early or realise that the hard work you have done has led to a very unhappy life, so far.
I am very wary of that, but we have to do some work, so we should make sure we do a good job of it and keep the economy going. I think France does a good job of balancing work and leisure.
Well those of us who went for the player signing option were right then <smug grin>
I see Halley's Comet is not on the poll?
It will be in 2060-61. I promise..!![]()
