Can I bring my dog with me? He's not too big for an Alsatian but he does eat quite a lot. Talking of food I always have a cooked breakfast and I get grumpy if I don't have my lunch at twelve o'clock sharp. In the afternoon I like to watch all the quiz and antique shows on the telly and I like my supper at six thirty in the evening. I don't drink beer so perhaps you could lay on a selection of red wines, French preferably. I struggle a bit with the stairs so if you can put a bed down stairs for me that would be perfect. Also I like to listen to the wireless in the night so perhaps you can arrange for one to be put in my room. I am a little hard of hearing so I hope the volume at which I listen wont keep you awake. I will need some assistance with my ablutions. Can you fit a stool in the shower and some hand rails by the WC. I am looking forward to coming and I wont be any bother.

Fran I am a great believer in female solidarity and I know that the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov would enjoy her holiday all the more if she knew I was in the very capable hands of another woman. I haven't been to the IoW in a long time and if you'll have me I'll even bring the fluffy handcuffs I bought from Ann Summers. If you like you can even call me Jose at those critical moments. The very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov would be pleased to know that all my physical and emotional (:emoticon-0105-wink:) needs were being cared for. I am sure together we could make the time pass very quickly.

PS Will you be able to wash my underwear as the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov only bought 4 pairs and she is going to be away for two weeks.

Sources are telling me there was a bit of a hitch. The player and his agent took a wrong turn, ended up in Wales, and couldn't get back in time to sign the deal tonight. Never fear, it's sure to wrap up tomorrow.
 
Whoopee. The sparks have been flying here this morning. Much to her new found friend's disgust the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov cooked my breakfast for me this morning and she had a miserable look on her face as a consequence. A big argument then blew up about feminist principles and the oppression of women which I didn't understand. The very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov said I had never oppressed anyone and it was at that point her friend packed her bags and left. As I type the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov is on a bus going into town to cancel her cruise. She said she was at the same time going to book a holiday for me and her to somewhere nice and warm so that we could get over the last few weeks. I know she took her Ann Summer's discount card with her so this holiday could be quite interesting.

I would therefore like to thank Downthe36 for his very kind offer which I might take up at some time in the future and also to Fran for the prospect of a break on the IoW which she never confirmed for some reason. Any way I am one happy bunny. I have got rid of that dreadful woman and her cigars, I don't have to into respite care, I am being fed again but best of all I am off on a proper holiday.

I will need that break as reading the endless new kit and new signing threads has been more stressful and traumatic than the problems in my household.

Well I didn't think it was true initially, then someone commented on it. After some of the frankly ridiculous comments on the Hope Powell thread I'm willing to believe pretty much anything!

It amused me anyhow. Ugh work is slow...

I wish. I wish. They were the best years of my life and sadly long ago now.

As for my holiday I was hoping it would be France but it is going to be Crete. The very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov picked up a great deal in town at the travel agents. All we need to do now is get some drachmas and we will be ready for the off.

As for those of you who have doubted my credibility you can all rest assured that the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov is indeed real and that matters more to me than it maybe does to you and I can't understand for the life of me why you have all doubted a single word I have written.
