It's not happening. They are linking us to every player and claiming every player will be sold when JM already said wholesale changes won't be made.

Does anyone seriously believe we would sell all of Mikel, Luiz, Mata, Ba, Ramires, Ivanovic, Torres and Terry? Silly Season <ok>

Well I don't think for one minute you'd sell all of them, but Maureen will undoubtedly want to make his own mark and Roman will give him bucket loads of cash to do so. And you can only have your quota, so it's quite feasible that some might be sold.

Can't see you selling Mata though, that would just be stupid.

There are a couple of reasons why Chelsea would have to sell some players.FFP is coming in so you'll have to offload some players before buying new ones just to balance the books also you can only have a squad of 25 so again you may have offload before you buy.Saying that i can't see Chelsea selling all the players that have been mentioned.

Torres will go and there's a possibility Mikel or Ivanovic could go with Ba going in January but there's no way Mata/Luiz will go, the side has been built around them.
 
Cat see mourinho getting rid of mata. He is our best player. I think the reason rumours have come about is that we will be playing a different formation under mourinho, so mata won't play in the middle. Can't see why that would be a problem as he was a winger at Valencia.
 
Mourinho would be stupid to get rid of Mata. He's been Chelsea's best player since joining them. Saying that though, I would take him in a heartbeat if he became available.
 
People underestimate Jose's ability to hold a grudge against an entire nation of people.

I mean he was completely undermined by Spanish players at Madrid and he will know full well that Torres and Mata will have friends amongst those who are at Madrid and Barcelona.

Also , losing Hazard is something people like myself are resigned to further down the line. I can see Oscar and Mata staying a long time but once Madrid or clubs of that ilk come knocking for Hazard it's an inevitability he will go which will leave us with a gaping whole.

Zidane is a director at Real and you only need to read his comments on Hazard to know that interest is inevitable.

I can't see Chelsea losing Hazard if they don't want to. I think the speculation is generally about how Mourinho likes to have a fairly solid and muscular midfield. Chelsea have the exact opposite right now.
 
Hazard is a mercenary. For once I agree with them on this. Remember that video "Who will Hazard choose", or something similar.

Hazard could have gone to United or City and earnt more money, chose Chelsea due to being guaranteed more first team football. I'd hardly call putting football over money as being a mercenary in all fairness. Doesn't come across as that sort of fella <ok>
