Not really bothered about Higuan's nationality to be honest. We have a spanish connection at the club, so he wouldn't be coming into a totally strange environment. I think he'd be the perfect striker at Arsenal really, people have called him a 'poacher' and to be honest, that's exactly what we need. The rest of the team are great at creating chances, we need a clinical striker to finish them off.

I just find them irritating weasels personally. Good when things are going well but as soon as its not ( which is usually down to them ) they are doom merchants.

Maybe thats just The Merc and Beans though.

Higuain is actually French by birth.He didn't become an Argentinian citizen until 2007 and now has dual French/Argentinian nationality

Didn't realise Higuan was born in France. That would make it more likely he'd be interested in the Arsenal connection, especially with the French / Spanish contingent here already.
 
Ah so he was born in france but speaks no french at all and left when he was 10 months old not returning until the WC in 1998 ( I assume as a fan lol )
 
The French connection doesn't really seem to have a bearing on this in regards to Higuain but it could explain the supposed meetings between Wenger and Higauin's father, as he spent a year in France playing for Brest.
 
Yes. Another thing I just realised is that Higuain is friends with Benzema, an actual French striker!
 
If we signed any one of Gundogan, Bender or Higuan, I'd would be as happy as Larry <ok>
