Heard brucey also offering to throw in a simple PowerPoint presentation on how to get promoted to aid Nigel next season

Hull are refusing to even get close to the asking price

Deal dead in the water by the sounds of things

Shock

Tigers boss Steve Bruce also remains keen on Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Bruce has had an improved £1.75million bid rejected and is refusing to pay the Foxes' £4million asking price.

They'll be more afraid of what happens if we don't buy him.

Like I've said before, there's plenty of top class goalies around. No need to throw money away on a player entering the last year of his contract. There's always next Summer when he'd be free.

Very true ... but let's just for one minute consider that remotest of possibilities - that we get promoted and you get relegated ... do you think he'd still leave us to join Uncle Steve then ?

Now before you all start coming out in hives - I hope you survive ... but there is a fair old bit of counting chickens bing thrown around when your eggs are facing a pretty big task in getting themselves fertilised by the end of next season ...

The debate is rather puerile right now - he'll stay or he'll go ... and that is all.

very good point re next season

I'm sensing a lot of worry from you proud , he ain't that good it's not worth losing sleep over.

Not worried in the slightest

Hull arent an established prem side neither do they have the money to get Kasper

Had it been a bigger club with some serious money. Maybe then I would be worried

No, of course he wouldn't, but that is precisely why he wants to move now. His agent will be all over him to get to the Premiership as fast as his little legs will carry him.

It's very likely we will get relegated next season. There is a possibility you will be promoted next season. That counts for NOTHING!

By that time he will have had a full season in the Prem and if he does well he will simply leave us and go to another Premiership Club, maybe even a big one.

That's not the point AGAIN. You should be worried about the cost of keeping Schmeichel.

Jeez! This is like pulling teeth!

Oh no however will we live with having to keep a quality goalkeeper <yikes>

Kasper still might sign a new contract. As of yet the club havent offered him a new deal

You should ban yourself, you're the worst wum on the Leicester board.

What would make this really hilarious, is if we're only willing to pay £2m as we want him as our No.2. <laugh>
