He's in the UK and Perez has stated he's on his way to Chelsea.

Prem league put up the article earlier with tomorrow's date on...Monday announcement for sure.

Was never going to be Sunday. Not with Brazil v England and all the journos out there. Expect a Monday Afternoon announcement and press conference on the evening or Tuesday.

All that time he said he'd return to the UK and look to set up a football dynasty, and all that time the Surrey Utd fans saying he would go there.

Let's hope Roman holds his nerve and Jose holds his tongue a bit and we could be onto something!

tbf too the surrey manc supporters trust the media had done a spendid job of convicing them now the manc media are back tracking .

If as reported one of the first things he does is get rid of Luiz, I will not be a happy bunny!!

For all Rafa's critics, one of the best things he did was make Luiz one of the key players in our side. He's a great player, improving all the time, leads by example and can play multiple positions. Why would you lose a player like that?!?! If Barca want him, surely that tells us something?

I think it's one of those...he needs to stop being so cavalier, but also has the potential to be amazing.

Like Drogs said, £40 - £45m then it's worth talking to them!

Jose has a problem and won't sign unless it gets sorted Emmmmmmmmmm I wonder what it could be? Is he just taking the Micky?

Well it don't come much clearer than that :)

Some of the comments at the bottom of that are hilarious <laugh>

10 years ago, Jose was an indignant, underdog young coach, whose outrageous arrogance and confidence was only matched by an insuppressable talent and self-belief. That man is still there, but it is under now layers of subsequent success and disappointment - his goals, methods and priorities would have evolved with his experiences.

If he gets rid of Luiz, that's just Jose being Jose. Given his experience at Madrid, and his recent comments regarding team ethics, wouldn't be surprised if that's the first thing he will be looking at in his players.

Not saying that Luiz is out for himself, all I'm saying is that anyone who is expecting Jose to just waltz back into the job and lead us back to glory without upsetting anyone or anything along the way, like some pied piper, is quite frankly living in la-la-land.

We still have to comply with FFP so how people think we can go on a spending spree with out consideration of bringing some money in to the club is beyond me. In those circumstances you have to consider who are your most salable assets.

IF he does sell Luiz I will wait and see who he brings in before castigating him. Maybe Jose would prefer a specialist CB and holding midfielder as opposed to Luiz who we can't evan agree on this board what his best position is.
