Is there a precedent for a World Cup/major competition being suspended or moved to another country at such short notice?
Not sure there was a concious decision to edit out Nigel. Mauricio only appears once after all, and that was directly after a goal, so it would have been a bit difficult to edit him out.
In all honesty, my one and only true gripe with content on the Saints Player videos, is the generally appalling picture quality from matches. When we get the highlights, at the end of a recent match, we get the extended stuff from Saints and sometimes get shortened highlights from the Premier League itself. The PL highlights are of far better picture quality, and I can only conclude that it is the editing in of Saints Radio Solent commentary where the quality falls down. They ought to get it sorted because I may consider dumping the subscription if they don't. It's avoidable and they ought to have someone there who can do the job properly, because it simply isn't good enough from a Premier League club.
FIFA have ****ed up over Qatar. FIFA wanted to change it to the winter but a few leagues have said they will leave FIFA if that happens. Would love that to happen.

The thing is, it's not the matches themselves which are the problem, as they will all be played indoors in air-conditioned stadia. The problem is, where do all the fans go in 50 degree temperatures during the day?

To be fair, the Qatar bid was pretty good. Didn't watch any of the others for the 2022 World Cup but watched Russia's (which was also good) and England's (which was crap).
As DTLW posted, Sky have announced Brazil game in doubt over a safety certificate. FIFA think it will still go ahead. Talk of another stadium. Very embarrassing for the Brazil FA.
I don't know about the World Cup but I think the Olympics would be given to the country who hosted the last games if the country due to host the games are unable to host it.
See some money is being redistributed from the Olympics. Are we the first country to come in under budget? Good news....just a shame that more didn't get the chance to go.
