1. BBC -what a bunch of tools, I arrived on this story late, but the BBC have made it there meain page story after Suarez' agent has said he is going no where. (Where is the BBC's story on Ronaldo staying at Real Madrid for definate?) 2. Suarez -Absolutely amazing player. half of me says he wants to stay, the other half says he bit someone to loosen his ties to the fans and club. Like when you want a girl to break up with you, you shag he best firend/sister/mum. 3. Can we please just have one season that isnt seen as a transition season..please! Suarez leaves - he is part of the backbone - next season transition - without Suarez we doo worse then last season - Brenddan loses job - new manager - new season transition - blahblahblah. Really hate international weeks, BBC salford and spanish passion. used to go out with a spanish bird and she always use to talk without thinking - Really annoying but with a great ass.... Suarez is similar, pain in the ass, but talented to the teeth
UPDATE: Via text from my mate. "Suarez is off if a Real deal can be done. Ignore his agent's quote that he's going nowhere". FFS
Everyone and their mother are saying ronaldo is staying at madrid, madrid especially. I think saying that on the beeb is fairly safe reporting. i'm fairly sure he didn't bite anyone premeditated to engineer a move I agree. transition is a word from the past. achieve is the watch word from now on.
Pathetic of the BBC to publish an article about Suarez's comment after it had already been refuted by his manager.
C'mon BB? Suarez has answered a question in the same way any player would, his agent has then said that he is not leaving in the Summer. I'm not saying he's defo going to stay but but Suarez quote does not mean that he wants to or is trying to leave, it's all media bollox.
Fellani to Man United would be the worst signing of the lot imo unless they want to play trophyless hoofball like Everton have for the last ten years but I cant see the Man United fans putting up with that for long.
Then we disagree. I've seen your post on the Chelsea board and again the interview looks damning but I'm not going to take an interview translated and put out by the media as gospel a lot of the interview can be seen and understood in different ways. Ayre has already said that it was lost in translation, not that I'm going to believe what he says but it is another different opinion. I'll wait and go with what actually happens.
By the same logic his agent's quote does not mean he does not want to leave or is not trying to leave. The agent said he had 'no plans to leave', which could well mean he hasn't planned anything yet, but may make plans in the future if an offer comes along. It could equally be a message to clubs like Real, Barca, Juve etc that he hasn't decided anything yet, so there is still plenty of scope for them to get involved in a race for his signature. And of course at this stage of the window absolutely nothing that is said in the press is absolute. Didn't Torres say he had no plans to leave about three weeks before he left?
I perosnally think Suarez is gone. If so, get the money and possibly + a player ( many to choose from- ALonso, Callejon, Khedira, etc) and invest WISELY in it.
There are probably/certainly other threads for these snippets, but I thought I'd keep it in one place, unless you mods want to split it up and put it in the others. This is all from my mate who has just phoned me. Points will be numbered a la MITO. 1. Suarez wanting to leave has nothing to do with the rags. It's because we haven't got CL. In an interview in the Times a bit back, he said he doesn't read the papers here as he can't really understand them, but 'the lads' told him he was now getting a reasonable press (pre-biting). The quote was his own words, not his agent's. He wants Real and they will come for him. 2. He has a release clause of 40 million and Real will know this. So we are unlikely to get any more. 3. He'd be staggered if Alonso came back. This has not been mentioned by Rodgers. 4. Iago Aspas is happening. He's not sure about Luis Alberto as yet. 5. Eriksen wanted to come, but Rodgers dithered and Dortmund came in. He thinks he will now resign with Ajax. 6. He still can't tell me who 'the big one' is. He said, I'll deffo know him, and I won't be happy. He's a good player, but only when he wants to be. If we're 2 - 0 up, he'll play his socks off. If it's 0 - 0 on a cold wet day at Stoke, you won't even know he's on the pitch. He'll let me know when he can tell me more. Edit I forgot these. 7. Reina to Barca will be announced next week 8. Rodgers will bet ALL the funds from player sales to re-invest. He will be under immense pressure to invest wisely from the owners, the club and us. He needs to attract tier 1 players who WILL hit the ground running, but how to do that with no CL? That's all for now.
So do I.Get the maximum for him:all agent's talk of him being happy at Liverpool is part of the plot. They would not like a back clash from supporters.
