Mata didn't effect the outcome of the game in the way the others did and that is why he is not on my list. Great player though.

If we're talking about players who impressed against us this season, then surely Mulumbu and Yacob can't be ignored. Mulumbu in particular.

Good. Hopefully they sign him, and we can stop hearing Schneiderlin to Inter rumours.

And a Mulumbu-less West Brom will be an easier two games for us!

Mulumbu didn't play in the 3-0 loss we had against them at St Mary's. He was suspended.

At West Brom, yes he was great. I tried to do it based on games at St Mary's and those players who really stamped their mark on a game.

I have heard a couple of people mention tonight that guly is going to bournemouth next season. Probably just a terrible rumour. I can't see it personally but wish him all the best if it is true.

    Bournemouth? :steam:

I honestly can see Guly still being here next season, although it will be a similar role to this year, in that he will be on the fringes. But I can't see him going, not yet anyway.

Unless Pochettino wants to shift Guly to get someone else in to the 25, I can't see him going. Think he will see out contract and return to Brazil.

Was an absolute pleasure to see Scholes before he retired. Hazard was one of the most skilful players I've seen live in a long time.
Vertonguen I thought was excellent as well.

Right, seeing as there ain't a lot of transfer rumours around at the moment..

Assuming we do get Astori and Nainggolan, that would be CB and AM/DM strengthened. What two positions would you next strengthen?

Definitely wide and we also need a striker. Two strikers played last season in real terms and that isn't enough. If Mayuka can step up, then we need one

True plus I don't think Lambert can last a season.

Another CB? I've been pretty impressed with Yoshida this season have to say.

I'd look at RW and ST definitely. Think RB will be covered, think Chambers will be cover right back next season.

Yep 2 new CB's for me, we seriously need a upgrade in the area. Our cb's cost us so many goals last season. I agree about Chambers but I doubt whether Pochettino think he is ready. We will see.

To be fair, Yoshida wasn't that great to start with, but as the season went on looked probably our best defender in terms of getting the basics right. Think the fact Chambers was in and around the squad at the end of the season probably shows that Pochettino thinks that him and Isgrove could be ready next season. From what i've heard he's a very good player.

Both Chambers and Targett are good young players, would be great if they could be back up to Shaw and Clyne. As for cb's Yoshida, new cb, new cb and between Forren/Fonte.
