    If it happens, a new worry emerges: that Cortese's DVD employs a form of mind control, and sooner or later he will order his minions to conquer all that they see, cutting a swath of destruction and terror through the world as they go. Cannot see the FA being too happy about that.

    Only seen him play a handful of times, but has looked poor every time.

    He was truly shocking in some of the Everton games that I caught. He's a guy who doesn't really have the physical attributes of a CB, but made do with excellent positional sense...this season, though, that seems to have deserted him.

    He has seemed bad. I think it was against Aston Villa where they conceded 3, all individual mistakes by him.

    Yes I'd take him. 17 starts and 9 sub appearances for a team that finished 6th. Only a fool would think all our centre backs are better than him considering the number of goals we've conceded this season, lol.

    Not really. Hardly individual mistakes. Looked at the highlights. Some good goals by Villa. Heitinga just happened to be the defender nearest to the ball. Perhaps he could have stopped one but it happens sometimes. The first goal was very good from Benteke in that game.

    He got sent off because of an Iniesta dive. Heintinga played decent in the final.
