**Promoting the board**

I've set up a RSS feed from this board into Twitter. I need to tweak it to put all the right tags in but in theory it'll scan the board every 30 mins and post any new threads on Twitter with a link.

This means any breaking news threads will be worldwide asap, plus the obvious benefit of all threads just going to Twitter.


Theres a stats mode as well so I can see how many people are following the links into the forum

Can you add hashtags to the tweet? It's a bit pointless if you're only tweeting it to your followers.

Hopefully from now on they'll have #f1 hashtags. May be a bit trial and error today

Not me. I did the last one. I like the 'official' mod-led threads but I also think it's good to let various regular members have a go, which is what I was hoping to spark off.

The RSS tweet feed is most definitely working now, and the #f1 hash-tag seems to have been picked up by all of them which is good

I'm just trying to stay polite and not be too pushy, or overly bias. But thats just me, its a forum account not mine so it should reflect all of us so go nuts . I'll PM you the login details

According the the stats the twitterfeeds are being clicked on which bring people onto the board. The numbers are low but they "peak" for the topics posted in the hours immediately after the race (obviously).

Amusingly the Custard pie and champaign ones were the most popular

This forum is much better than Autosport or PlanetF1 which seems to have turned into a driver bashing ground. The F1 consensus is strong with this group!
