He doesn't play very often for them, they have so many midfielders. Really good player tho would be a very good buy if you could get him.
Thiago is a quality player and would readily occupy a position that we need at Arsenal. If there's any chance that he's available then we'd be mad not to go for him.
Remember who our manager is though.... If Thiago was French, we'd probably go for him, but he isn't so we'll get someone else, or nobody at all.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...confirms-Lyon-midfielder-Clement-Grenier.html The 'new Nasri', the original one is not even that good, ffs.
Jack linked with Munich. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/316687/Bayern-Munich-warned-off-Jack-Wilshere/ Controversial call here, but if we get a good offer, we should sell him. He's clearly a top player, but is he a top Arsenal player? He just doesn't seem to suit our system, we've actually won more games when he hasn't played (that surprised me).
We won more games, because when he was fit and in the team, Wenger played the likes of Vermaelen in defence and we were all over the place at the back and we never sorted our defensive shape until the Spurs defeat. Wilshere is talented enough to play in that number 10 role, but he needs time and also a run of games. He has the ability to glide past people and speed our play up when he is at his best, and having a player like that in our midfield is essential. We might have improved defensively without Wilshere, but we also suffered going forward without him.
But if Bayern offered something crazy (remember, Guardiola has 250 million to spend), would you say no? 40-50 million buys us a world class striker.
Nope, selling him would just again highlight the fact that we are nothing but a selling club. Also Wilshere is more than a normal player for us, because he is a youth product loves the club, and I think it's vital that we have a player like that in our team, also I think the Wenger recognise that fact and is now attempting to build his next team with a core of British players (Wilshere,Jenks,Ramsey).
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/may/26/falcao-transfer-monaco-medical Yep. At least he is not joining Chelsea, I suppose.
Crikey Monaco are stocking up. I didn't have Falcao down as a money-bags player. Shame because he has real quality. Can't believe anyone thinks we should sell Jack. Few midfielders in the world have his quality at his age. He's bound to get even better over the years. He's a future captain of the club. He's loyal, which considering our recent problems is a ****ing godsend. Finally, who could replace him of equal or better quality? We already have 70 million, so selling Jack to get that up to 100 million would be pointless.
Why the HELL would we sell our future captain, one of the best young players of the world, and a ****ing die-hard Gooner. So people can bitch about the lack of ambition/
Money is powerful. Funny how we fans say players should be loyal and then when we (the fans) see an opportunity to get good money then we should sell him. We are not selling him for football reasons (since the nr 1 club in the world wants him) but rather money reasons.
