Simple question, is there currently or has there ever been a more self obsessed and pathetic referee than this idiot ?

No, there hasn't. Terrible performance by Webb today. My favourite was when the Arsenal player slipped into Tiote, who was going to make a tackle but in the end didn't move, and Webb gave Arsenal a free kick? Unf***ing believable... Debuchy could have had a pen, Ben Arfa and Tiote were fouled and kicked all game, and Corzola, Sagna etc time-wasted from the 60th minute. Same old Arsenal, always a***holes

Have to admit this was my personal "favourite" today. In 50 + years of watching football at all different levels averaging one game per week I can't recall ever seeing this before by any level of referee. And he's the best ?

    it's shocking really,
the times he gave us advantage going backwards was unbelievable when a free kick on the edge of the box would of been better

DT looked on twitter and apparently it was because the yellow was attracting lots of midgies and he was getting bitten constantly <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Don't know what the change was supposed to achieve like... s*** always attracts flies <ok>

not sure if he played to the crowd today, he had a couple of good seasons and has gone backwards
also hated him with a passion since the Toon v Fulham game when he made up the imaginary foul on their keeper by Nolan

Can't say he was that bad, we were just rotting **** for most of the match, the second half especially. Arsenal were in 2nd gear throughout and even then they completely dealt with us.

We were decent first half but average to poor second half with no bite up front. Webb was garbage throughout.

Webb was a disgrace (yet again) today! I think he needs an extended stint in the Championship next season - but we all know the FA think the sun shines out of his arse. The Sagna incident in the 2nd half did it for me. The cheating bastard sat down on the pitch to waste time, Webb told him to get off the pitch so Sagna walked off and took the throw in!!!! Unbelievable!!! If he's off the pitch injured, surely he can't take the throw in? If he can, then he's not injured and should have been yellow carded for 'simulation' or whatever other bollocks word they use for cheating nowadays!

Also, (sorry if I'm ranting a bit but I must vent my spleen!) today was my last match watching my team, Newcastle United. I'm giving up my season ticket after 7 years (I lived away from the area for a long time before that!) - The reason I'm giving up? - Today's match typified it, the cheating, the diving, the ****e refereeing! I've had enough! The game is ruined! Ruined by spineless, cowardly players who can't win without cheating, and spineless, cowardly referees and officials (including the FA) who don't have the balls to do something about it! Howard Webb is the worst of them all. He's a c**t of the highest order.

I'm giving mine up, but only because I anticipate work commitments. I'd walk over broken glass to see players in black and white, even to play utter drivel... I appreciate you might be slightly saner than I am though <ok>

Probably not saner! Just less fed up than me! It's been building up for a few years now - since our year in the Championship and watching Whitley Bay win the FA Vase showed me how the beautiful game should be played! With honesty and integrity! Unfortunately, honesty and integrity are not good bed fellows of Premier League football. The way Howard Webb referees football matches in the PL nowadays is bordering on corrupt!

Fredor, no-one is blaming injuries and no-one is questioning the standard of our team (I think we all know we have been pretty ****e this season). The topic is Howard Webb and how **** he is!

A bit late to add anything, but Webb and the linesman on the Milburn line didn't seem to know the rules. Things happened in front ot them that they allowed to go unpunished. The FA should look at a replay of the game and see how many wrong decisions were made and how many decisions that should have been made weren't.

I had a watch of your game yesterday, felt it would be more entertaining than the Spurs game.

I see Arsenal are still getting free-kicks because half of their players only weigh 6 stone, they can't physically compete so it must be a free kick.

You need to keep hold of Coloccini, despite him being turned by Koscielny for the goal he was immense again. That little dink he did with the outside of his boot when he was cornered in was fairly sweet. If he goes you've got one hell of a job replacing him.
