I think it's part of the game, a manager should have his team prepared.

If you're scrapping around for points to get you to the 40 mark with a few games to go, you have to expect this kind of thing at the end of the season as it happens every year with different teams. If a club has achieved it's ambitions before a certain time of the season then well played to them, they owe nobody else anything in the division in my opinion, you look after your own interests and if others go down at the expense of one of your less passionate performances then big deal. As a United fan I'd prefer my players to be pulling out of dangerous 50/50's with nothing to play for, and not run the risk of starting pre-season late because somebody like Charlie Adam is pissed out of his mind on the pitch and going in recklessly. That's why nobody likes Warnock, he never took responsibility for his own club's awful football, he blamed the entire season on Carlos Tevez.

I agree but lot's of fans still suck off O'Neill tho.

Swansea had a man sent off & we didn't win.
Newcastle had a man sent off & we didn't win.
Arsenal had a man sent off & we didn't win.
Norwich had a man sent off & we didn't win.

****ING JOKE END OF.

Any one of those opportunities taken and we're safe today instead of sweating on arsenal

WBA took 6 points from us this season.

Whilst I understand the point of the article, we are simply not good enough, and if we survive we have been very fortunate indeed.

WBA are entitled to switch off, happens to most teams that are in the also-ran category, if ee could defend we'd have had 3 points yesterday and not blinked at their result.

Unless i've missed one we didnt beat a team in the prem with 11 men on the pitch until december 11th, thats horrific!

Our position is nowt to do with West Brom, but they should be putting out for their fans who went to Norwich for the game. Pain in the arse journey that.

BTW, like the avatar The PDC Effect

total failure, no passion, no staff. no tactics, transfer dealings badly worked and so out of touch, even these players managed correctly could have finished in the top ten.
saw this coming last year but got abused for an honest opinion, i would say if ellis had done the same thing at the turn of the year we would not be any where near the bottom.

think the 9 points we picked up in december saved him from the sack, if we hadnt of beaten reading reckon he would have got the chop or would have been very close to it
