Well, Cruyff. Admit it, you were wrong. All season long you have been telling us that someone will go down with 36 or 37 points so we didn't need to worry. Well, we are going down with 38.

This game is so cruel at times, but I still have hope. If the worst does happen, I will still support my team. Let's do everything to beat WBA next week. At least they have to play ManCity away on Tuesday. We're not down yet Vietnam, though I suspect you'll be disappointed if we don't go down! OTBC!

Not yet.Wigan only have 35.I can see them losing at The Emirates and I am not convinced they will beat The Swans either. They could end up with 36 or 37.

No, I will not be disappointed if we don't go down, and that is the kind of slur that you happy-clappy types have been throwing at us more sceptical fans for half a season.

I can't help think that the fans of three clubs are loving this; Villa, Leeds and our blue and white neighbours. Honestly thought we'd stay up but the weeks have sapped my belief now. Just one realistic chance left as I can't see a win at Man City...unless that's Hughton's grand master plan.

tbh I don't think the Leeds fans care that much, they have their own problems that they are well aware of of and acknowledge <ok> Villa really could not give a toss about us as we are nothing to them and the blue and white things you speak of are nothing to us so who cares <ok>

That's a disgraceful thing to say

What I was implying that was that we've become a joke. I want to be proved wrong but I can't see it.

If it's you, us or Sunderland who drop it's all thanks to the FA for doing sweet FA about McManaman's foul on Haidara. He should be banned but instead his goals have secured 3 points for Wigan in the last 2 games.

Perhaps for you this is true. But the reason why we are where we are is pure and simple. Hughton, and his utterly negative and defensive attitude. Thanks Chris. Doubtless you will go on to another well paid job. Meanwhile the club you skewered will be back in the Championship.

Other than Wigan v Swansea, Villa v Chelsea on Saturday will be a key match. It's the only Saturday game and if they lose that one, it could mean City approach the West Brom game differently on Sunday. If Wigan beat Swansea then beating Villa will save themselves too. Fulham have Liverpool home then Swansea away and could be dragged into it, now, wouldn't that be ironic?

What I meant, Vietnam (and Carrabuh, for that matter) is that City still have two games to play and Wigan three, and yet you've given up on anything but us being relegated on 38 points. It could happen, but it hasn't happened yet. Nor is CT's prediction wrong yet. It could happen, but it hasn't happened yet. It's the defeatism that is so hard to take. It would be just as hard for Sunderland or Newcastle or anybody else who eventually goes down. It's the way it works, not something personal to you.
